About ASU's Women's Studies Club

The Women’s Studies Club was founded during the fall 2007 semester to serve as a support system anyone interested in women’s studies and gender issues. The WSC also aims to encourage and support scholarship and excellence in the Women's Studies Program at ASU and within the community. The WSC will serve the community and university through public service and awareness projects.

The WSC attracts individuals from all personal and academic backgrounds who are interested in supporting and promoting the mission of the ASU Women’s Studies Program and developing a deeper understanding of women’s studies and gender issues. Members of the WSC provide academic leadership to ASU and the Boone community by attending and planning events, fostering discussions, and also creating projects in active support of women’s and gender issues.

Not only do we hope to create a positive impact on ASU and our local community, but we also hope to improve ourselves within our individual academic disciplines.
